Adom Akyedeɛ — Twi for “gift of grace” — is Obofour Raphael's 18-track testimony, moving between Highlife guitar lines, Hiplife cadence and gospel conviction.

Across its eighteen tracks, Adom Akyedeɛ unfolds like a film set in the Ghanaian world, giving love, tradition, everyday life, rivalry and faith each room to breathe. Obofour Raphael, a rapper by trade, sings, acts and recites poetry throughout the record, drawing it closer in spirit to musical theatre than to a conventional album, one built to travel far beyond Ghana without losing what makes it Ghanaian.

Silvanus Raphael Oduro Dickson, known to the world as Obofour Raphael, is a Hiplife and Hip Hop artist: a songwriter, producer, rapper and singer with two and a half decades in the craft. The album drew in Sadat X of Brand Nubian, and made history by securing a sample-interpolation clearance from UK superstar Craig David, cleared through Warner Chappell Music and Round Hill Publishing.

Ahoofe, one of its songs, carries the campaign forward on its own, submitted in two performance categories from a single session. Awula is a separate standalone single, released independently of the album, submitted for Best African Music Performance.
